WKF World family is first time in history guest in Cartagena, Colombia!

After the huge success in the last World Championships in  Alicante 2024 WKF head office expect again more than 70 countries and over 2.000 fighters from all over the World.

In east and west and from Scandinavia to South Africa and San Fransisco to Vladivostok!

More than 2.000 competitors expected, in all WKF disciplines,

Forms, Tatami, ring sport, and BOXING

Everybody want to attend this historical and amazing event!

Asia, North America and Latin America, Africa, Europe and again Australian countries confirmed already huge teams to show the World how strong they are !

We need our best American Champions in Colombia!

Just the weekend before on October 17 / 18  WKF promote our annual WKF World referee seminar 2026 in Cartagena. Without valid WKF license – no exception – you are not an official in our World Kickboxing Federation!

After the great success last Year the next WKF Open World Cup in cooperation with the Mayor´s Cup take place in Moldova´s capital Chisinau.

Date is confirmed for June, 25th to 26th.

This open World Cup in Chisinau has many strong. international teams from all over the World.

Great hospitality , nice Hotels and excellent food is just what you get in Moldova.

The WKF North America Congress and the US Referee Seminar took place in Sacramento and Los Angeles from May 8th to 10th.

Representatives from several states, including Texas, were present to learn about the competition rules and updates for the upcoming World Championship.

As everyone knows, Cartagena, Colombia, will host the WKF World Championship from October 19th to 24th.

As expected, many teams from the participating states want to form a strong and large US national team and successfully represent themselves at the World Championship against the expected 2000 + strongest champions from around the world.

There are still some spots available for tatami and ring sports. But please note: no beginners or internet champions  🙂

Our WKF USA President and North America Continental Director, Alexandr VARVARENKO, was, as always, a perfect organizer and host.

WKF World President/CEO Fritz EXENBERGER from Austria was invited to lead the referee seminar.

Ms. Olena GUSLYAKOVA has been confirmed as WKF USA Chief Referee. She will subsequently organize the next referee seminars.

At the invitation of WKF USA President Alexandr VARVARENCO, WKF / CEO President Fritz EXENBERGER will attend the next North American Congress in California in May 9th / 10th.

WKF representatives from many US states will also be traveling to Los Angeles.

In addition to making many new contacts with major American promoters, a meeting with our WKF partner, “Global Gladiator Games” is also on the packed schedule.

The goal of this continental congress is also to bring the best US champions, both men and women, back to Europe for exciting fights in K1 and boxing. Many WKF European promoters are interested in title fights against the best US American champions.

Furthermore, the World Championship in Colombia in the City Cartagena October 19th to 24th will be discussed with coaches and key managers.

The WKF Asia Congress in Nanning, China, at the end of May after California offers the next opportunity for our best men and women worldwide to compete in major fights abroad.

Young champions meet again at the international tournament “CHINGIZ ALLAZOV CUP”!

A major event in children’s and youth sports is coming soon to Minsk, Belarus – the WKF International Kickboxing Tournament “CHINGIZ ALLAZOV CUP”!

The upcoming season is shaping up to be a busy one, with new changes set to be announced shortly.

Now is the time to register your clubs, coaches, and athletes to maximize your membership for the 2026 calendar year and be ready for the season ahead.

Since December 1st, 2025, we have a new, highly dedicated president and a new leadership team for WKF USA within our world federation.

Of course, we will once again welcome a strong and large US team – both men and women – to the World Championships in Colombia in October 2025.

The date for the qualification of our US national team for the World Championships in the Caribbean will be announced shortly.

My name is Alexandr VARVARENCO, and I am the President of WKF USA.
I am a highly experienced kickboxing coach and sports professional with a higher education in Physical Culture and Sports, specializing as a trainer-teacher.

I was born and trained in Tiraspol, Moldova, at the Boeс Sports Club. During my competitive career, I became a champion of Transnistria and Moldova, a medalist in international tournaments, silver medalist of the WAKO World Cup, and professional champion of Ukraine under WKA.

During 9 years of coaching in Transnistria, I continued to represent Boeс Sports Club, was appointed head coach, and trained athletes who became national and international champions, including a European champion and silver medalists of the World Cup and European Championships.

For my contribution to sports, I was awarded the “Excellence in Physical Culture and Sports” distinction and recognized as Best Coach of 2020.

After moving to the USA, I founded GOLDEN EAGLE FIGHTING CLUB, in West Sacramento, California, where over 2 years my students achieved:
• Multiple 1st places in California (IKF)
• 1st places at the USA Championship (WKA)
• Silver medals at the USA Championship (ISKA)

As President of WKF USA, at home in West Sacramento, California, I am committed to developing kickboxing in the United States, organizing high-level competitions, and nurturing the next generation of champions through professional training and athlete development.
